| Description | This class aims at providing practitioners with an introductory understanding of the evaluation and treatments options of musculoskeletal disorders in general. This introduction is situated within the context of contemporary pain management. The course unfolds in presenting major joints issues (shoulder, lower back pain, hip and knee). Each section introduces basic understanding of the joints in terms of normal functions and basic identifications of issues. An awareness of red flags and of various treatment modalities is introduced. This class while being a self-sufficient introduction course, is complemented with the class “Pain management and awareness”. | ||
