| Description | This class is designed to provide the necessary integrative tools in the modern acupuncture practice. This class explores the differences between X-Ray, MRI, MRA, PET, CT, Ultrasound, and Thermography. Students will learn how imaging is used for head and neck disorders in acupuncture, based on the differentiation of TCM patterns. It will review common disorders in acupuncture practice that require imaging tests. The course emphasizes red flag referrals and recording imaging results in the SOAP note. Additionally, it introduces how imaging results influence medical decisions and billing codes. | ||
